My name is Natalie R. Zawadzki, also known by usernames nzed, nrzed, and ignzed. I am a graduate of the Interactive Arts and Technology program of Simon Fraser University. Though I call myself an Interaction Designer, I do not necessarily limit myself to this field. Those who have worked with me will tell you I have ADHD for all types of design. My ideas are inspired by the people I meet, where I live, and the places I've wandered to. I am a nerd for fitness, the outdoors, and all things colourful. That is me in short, but as most people cannot be summarized so concisely, hopefully you are either someone I already know or someone I will have the opportunity of meeting!
I believe being an expert in Interaction Design means being an expert in people's behaviour and their responses to various environments. Interaction is present in every field of design, and the practice of observing where they are most natural is an essential part of designing for interactivity. That is why I think the ability to design begins with being observant, openminded and diverse.
Diverse skills reflect open-mindedness and an ability to look for the solution in unexpected avenues.
Brainstorming, Conceptualization, Interaction Informances, Information Architecture, Wireframing, Prototyping
Vector Graphics, Web/App Design, Information Modelling, Branding&Identity Design
Sketching, Concept Art, Storyboarding, Apparel Graphics
Film, Video Editing, Motion Graphics, Animation, 3D Modelling
In all my projects I have seen how having diverse knowledge furthers the solution to any design challenge. I love interactive, service, graphic, identity, industrial and urban design.
I have experience working directly with clients to produce quality projects. I love working both within a team and independantly.
International Seoul Competition
Competition oppurtunities allow me to continually hone my skills, and ensure that I am well-practiced at a wide variety of industry-standard programs.
